All procedures can be considered a multi-stage process IT MAY BE NECESSARY to have a touch up session within 4 to 6 weeks after your initial application of permanent makeup.  Final results of color consistency or defined lines can be achieved as a result of touch-up appointments.

Day 1

After the initial procedure do not touch your eyebrows for the rest of day, other than lightly dabbing away blood or lymph fluid.  Try not to let build up occur because it will be difficult to remove and you don't want to rub the area. Resist the urge to touch or let others touch your new beautiful brows.  Keep in mind it is an open wound and can get infected.

The night of your session clean around the area with a unscented hypoallergenic sensitive skin wipe not a makeup wipe. If needed apply ointment lightly before bed.

***Do not wet your eyebrow for the first 10 days, absolutely no water other than a damp wipe.***

Day 2-10

In the morning use a wipe to clean your eyebrows if needed.

While showering avoid getting your eyebrow area wet and excessive steam as this can fade your pigment.

Apply a thin layer of ointment to help protect from moisture.

Avoid any activity that may involve or expose you to airborne dust & debris such as cleaning a garage or riding a motorcycle, it may cause infection.

Avoid excessive activity that may induce sweating, this can fade the pigment.

Apply a thin layer of ointment as needed with clean fingertips.  No double- dipping.  Do not touch the procedure area unless applying ointment.

No scratching, rubbing or picking of the procedure area. Picking may pull and remove underlying pigment and cause scarring. Rubbing may blur and spread the pigment.

Do not apply makeup on or around the procedure area for 72 hours.  After your brows have completely healed keep in mind when applying makeup over brow area it may make the brows appear lighter in color.

Day 11+

Touch-ups may be done four weeks after the eyebrow procedure but no sooner.

No swimming in chlorine or saltwater until your procedure site is healed (about 14 days)

No tanning for three weeks

After 14 days always wear a sun block (15 or stronger) when outdoors.  Excess sun exposure may cause the pigment to fade faster

Limit direct sun exposure with a hat or visor.  Try to stay in shaded areas.

Sunbathing, solarium, light therapies, chemical peelings, fruit acids, microdermabrasion, creams that contain regeneration factors.

Always avoid laser treatments over the treated area (fraxel laser, IPL), because they can destroy the pigment and cause burns.

Use of antibiotics and hormonal therapy can lead to a faster pigment fading.

What your Designer Brows will look like

Day 1-2 The Eyebrows are approximately 40% darker and bolder than they will be once they are healed.  Your skin will be pink or red under the pigment which will cause the color of the pigment to look much darker.  Redness and swelling will subside.

Day 3  Eyebrows might start to itch and may appear to look much thicker in texture.  Scabbing exfoliating will begin.

Day 4-5 The skin’s dead cells will begin to flake and peeling might begin around the edges of the brows.

Day 5+ Color will finish flaking off and appear much lighter and softer.  Allow for the color to fully develop.
